Zoltán (1967) has an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Budapest, 1991) and a postgraduate degree in Law (Budapest, 2004).
During his education and in the early period of his career, he gained international experience in various civil engineering fields in a number of European countries (Austria, Germany, Iceland and Great Britain) and is fluent in the English and German languages - Hungarian being his mother tongue.
His first involvement with consulting engineering and FIDIC contracts was in the early 1990-s. Zoltán played an important role in spreading the use and practice of using FIDIC Conditions of Contract in Hungary – he was a member of the FIDIC translation teams responsible for the translation of the FIDIC 1999 Red-, Green-, Yellow- and 1995 Orange Books as well as the White Book into the Hungarian language.
Apart from providing consultancy services for Engineers, Employers and Contractors for major infrastructure projects, he has been involved in a number of Task Groups and the Contracts Committee of the International FIDIC organisation since 2007 (CC member from 2009). He is a listed dispute adjudicator in Hungary and an accredited international FIDIC trainer.In addition to the 3-4 annual FIDIC courses in Hungary, he also lectures on training courses on the international scene as an accredited international FIDIC trainer (further information about these international trainings are under here).
